St. James Guesthouse - Roseau

The breakfast was a delight, especially the fresh fruit buffet! The cleanliness of the room and beautiful garden created a peaceful oasis during our busy stay.

I liked brand-new rooms with ac and competent staff. The venue's position was central.

Clean property with very good and really kind staff. The rooms with efficient A/C, the bedroom, as example. All in all great and brilliant location, just off a tricky island to inexpensively navigate, town centre and the bus stop for Portsmouth. Again, walking distance to The Dominica Museum. Totally SUCH GREAT stay for one night.

The rooms were neat, brand-new. It included complimentary wireless internet and a writing table. The location of the hotel was central, near the ferry and the bus stop for Portsmouth and easy access to public transportation.

The location is perfect for exploring the local area. Carol and Phil deliver really good hospitality. Breakfast was good, with fresh and tasty offerings.

While the hotel is charming, it wasn't easy to find dining options nearby once the sun set. Parking can also be a bit challenging during busy hours.

The room was spacious with AC and a mini fridge, perfect for late nights. It was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed. Really enjoyed the relaxing rooftop terrace with an amazing sunset view! No complaints whatsoever.

Sound from the nearby bar occasionally intruded, with music continuing until around midnight, which might disturb light sleepers. The bed was pressed against the wall in my room. Surprisingly, there were no drink-making facilities, which I found a bit inconvenient in the morning. The breakfast spread was somewhat limited, with mostly fruit and toast, and I missed out on the waffle iron due to timing issues, a reminder that things run on Caribbean time.

What an amazing stay! I loved the breathtaking sea view from the terrace, the daily fresh tropical fruits for breakfast, and the owner's incredible fish dish. Would definitely return!

Great central location, just a short walk to ferry and bus stops. The breakfast was very good, with options to add extras like bacon and fried plantain, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were cute, especially Cheney, who provided attentive service. The garden was beautifully maintained, and the pond added a peaceful touch to the atmosphere.

Absolutely loved the rooftop terrace with its amazing sunset views! The staff were super attentive, and the room was pristine. Only downside was a need for an extra pillow 😊

The breakfast spread was a daily delight, with a fantastic fresh fruit buffet packed with tropical choices. Carol and Phil were warm. Our room wasnice and neat. Some of the furniture could use a refresh to enhance the overall experience.
